Gonna be a tough game. Clemson picked to have 6 1st rounders in next draft. Not sure if we have enough talent to combat that

I’m not worried about playing a worthy opponent on their home turf. Sure, they will be a hard team to go against in a first game. No matter who wins, the purpose is to play a hard schedule so that LSU can have a chance to play for a National Championship. I ‘m looking forward to a hard fought game, where hopefully, LSU wins and advances the good guys on towards a great season.

To be fair, I believe he might be referring to Todd McShay’s mock draft. At least the other post with this same stat referred to that one. McShay actually didn’t have Sheduar going in the 1st round at all. He does have Nuss going #1 overall next year though.

The team looks pretty good to me, especially the Defense, but the OL is the weak link that hasn't been fixed. (Coaching, Talent, Depth)

That’s why. At some point, the highly touted guys that we actually recruit from high school have to develop and play. I know that sounds crazy.
