The Colorado Rockies are on pace to possibly become the worst MLB team of all time.

They are 4-25 right now. The worst team of all time is considered to be the 1899 Cleveland Spiders who went 20-134 after the owner bought another team and transferred all the star players to that new team.

Baseballs salary cap rules don’t help them, but I agree it’s TERRIBLE

There was an article by Passan that they are spending money, just not wisely.

Their problems run much deeper than spending. Awful, insular front office that has had very little turnover when you consider how little they’ve won historically

That’s got to be a fun team to manage . You know you’re terrible , You know you aren’t going to the postseason , Just keep it fun and loose in the clubhouse , and traveling on private jets , and staying at the 4 seasons , and playing the top golf courses , and living the life.

Yep, those guys are professionals and have to get their asses whipped like it’s clockwork every night.

The Braves needed to play them to stay hot too so we got lucky.

Rockies haven’t won a division championship in 32 years of existence. They’ve been to the playoffs 5 times total

Guardians and commanders have to be the two worst name changes in the history of sports

Watching the Braves play them on TV the last couple of nights, I be surprised if they had 5-10K in attendance.

Went to a Guardians game this weekend and people were wearing Indians gear all over the stadium. They even have people across the street from Progressive selling Indians stuff still

It’s a shame. A great ballpark a great fanbase that will show up with a quality product to watch.

Yet they still have more WS appearances than the Mariners.

How sad is that?

Great ballpark, near the train, near a ton of apartments

It’s pretty sad how bad they are cause Rockies could have a great environment for a team

I think their fanbase has finally given up as whole this year which is sad. Because you’re absolutely right, they showed up quite well despite how bad to mediocre they’ve been for their entire history and Coors Field is a gem.
