FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 4/20/25 STATEMENT: Another day, another old story—back from the dead. The Trump-hating media continues to be obsessed with destroying anyone committed to President Trump’s agenda. This time, the New York Times — and all other Fake News that repeat their garbage — are enthusiastically taking the grievances of disgruntled former employees as the sole sources for their article. They relied only on the words of people who were fired this week and appear to have a motive to sabotage the Secretary and the President's agenda. There was no classified information in any Signal chat, no matter how many ways they try to write the story. What is true is that the Office of the Secretary of Defense is continuing to become stronger and more efficient in executing President Trump's agenda. We’ve already achieved so much for the American warfighter, and will never back down.

Cant wait to see which shiny new object your media overlords hook you with next week when Hegseth is still in place

This is so confusing. Those conservatives are so good at pretending to be concerned I don’t know what to believe anymore

It is astounding.
Transexuals were allowed years of pay. While the ones kicked out do to covid and not loyal to Biden-- are not offered much.
So if anything the left should be happy but they want Hegseth gone.
They won't be happy with anyone but a Lloyd Austin.

Definitely not a denial of the facts of the story. Sounds like we’re at the “if he did do it, it’s not a big deal stage.”

I don’t think anyine believes there was Classified information divulged in the Signal chats. We learned from 2 administrations ago that classification of documents is a process, not an opinion.
In other words, Trump could tell Putin that he is about to attack China, does not make this information classified…but it would call into question his judgement.
Why are the administration officials not questioning Hegseth’s judgement in discussing all this information with different folks not in the need-to-know?

What do you think those are?

That he shared details of the Yemeni attack (similar in nature to the details he butt-texted to the journalist) with his wife, brother and others. I probably should’ve used allegations instead of facts.
Even if we accept the argument that no “classified” info was included. That info should have at least been controlled and shouldn’t be shared with people without a need to know. You know, like in the family group chat.

There is zero evidence to suggest this is true. Just NYT “sources.” That is not a very reliable source and have been caught red-handed publishing fake news over and over.

So classified info?
You can’t have it both ways.
He either shared classified info (which is what you are claiming…based solely off of allegations made by people that were shite-canned (probably colluding with each other no less),
Or…it wasn’t classified.
I see that you are doubling down on the (false?) allegations.
Why?

Information is controlled through the classification system, so if classified information wasn't shared then your argument falls all to pieces....

The media apparatus is attacking them every single day over every single decision.
And a lot of people eat it up.
Yelling fascism while calling for the assassination of their perceived dictator.
Where was this guys due process?
Joe Biden admin went to a guys house and murdered him over an online post.

I just read a Twitter post. I think some MAGA folks have already moved to ‘this was intentional to weed out the leakers.”
