Wrestlemania Weekend: Smackdown/HOF/NXT Stand and Deliver Thread 4/18/2025

Wrestlemania weekend kicks off with the Kickoff Show on Peacock right now before Smackdown and the HOF on Peacock tonight. Also known as the warmup show for all of the mid & lower card talent to get ring time. Announced for tonight...
- Pat hosted today's show live from WWE World. Michael Cole co-hosted the entire show while Roman Reigns, HHH, and Rhea Ripley (sans makeup) made appearances.
- There still isn't a clear opponent for Randy but the pool seems to include Rusev, Alister Black, and Solo.
- It has been announced that Mania is kicking off with 70,000 people Yeeting for the WWE Championship. Sunday's opener is the Triple Threat match for the Women's championship. The big question seems to be whether the spotlight has been taken off Flair-Stratton due to their incident two weeks ago.
- And finally, John Cena appears to be in full heel mode with the press. In an interview with the NY Times he was quoted as saying “I don’t care who hears it: I love Vince.”

Ticket sales are currently about 55,000, still a good number but not a sellout.

That's not horrible for both nights. There was a bit of sticker shock from the Royal Rumble prices so I'm not completely surprised.
I'll probably pay for whatever they're charging for that $1k tier when they're in Indy. Already planning on both nights of Wrestlemania, Smackdahn, the HOF, and the RAW After Mania. Plenty of miles on the car but still cheaper than the inflated Indy hotel process.
ETA: Section 101 is a pretty sweet view for $1K.

I think I ended up paying about $175 to sit around the middle of the dome for WM34. I couldn't see the stage due to the big lighting rig hanging down over the ring, which means I had to watch all of the entrances on the big screen. Those seats are definitely not worth $500 a night to me.
