Do the Saints have any recourse if Carr is injured and can’t play or faking?

I can’t keep up with the board and read it all the time. But my question is if he is injured and can’t play, or if he is claiming (faking) injury and can’t play do the Saints have anything they can do other than pay him what is left on his contract? I guess my question is do teams have an out for injury? Or do teams have an out for someone who doesn’t fulfill their contract by playing? Faking an injury to me would be conduct detrimental to team. I’m assuming we are stuck paying?

Guarantees have consequences.

He’s not faking. It’s an observable injury.

I'm not a fan of Carr but Loomis deserves for Carr to get every penny that he signed for.

It's the whole reason for guarantees. You could be the best player in the league and you could go down with a career-ending injury. The thing should be questioned is the assessment by the team on how much the guarantee should be.

We should obviously have our doctors check this jerk out from head to toe. It should be within his contract and if it isn’t then good god why not.
Would love to void the other 69 mil for next year if he isn’t available or not compliant. Mickey should have the job of checking his prostrate with a baseball bat.
