I knew a student from England and a couple from South Africa at LSU back in the late 90’s. One got a DUI, good attorney got him out of it, and he still lost his visa. The others always said they could lose their visa for just about anything. Don’t act like this new. It just went unenforced for a long time.

Should have learned from the first ticket.
There are enough students in the U.S. who are waiting for spots at universities for me to have much sympathy for someone from another country who can’t follow rules.
