Where is Larson.? Is he in doghouse. Brown makes me nervous in RF
Braswell needs to be everyday 3B
Dunno about yall but Rizy fastball is 1st I’ve seen almost as good as Skenes
These walks HAVE to stop or Omaha may no happen
Wish Dickerson would lose the dangling ear ring LOL

He's struggling. Pearson should be in RF

How would we know? He's barely played this year.

When he did play he was lost. Too late in the game to get him some meaningful ABs now.

What about our catcher situation? Arrambide is apparently on the DH list. This position is unsettled now, and with Bama arriving on Thursday, I'm as nervous as a cat in a roomful of rocking chairs

Larson still is not being given an opportunity. 1 AB per midweek isn't enough to prove anything. People forget, he proved himself already last year - just let the kid play. Every other guy gets a chance to play out of a slump - but not him....it makes no sense (Louisiana bias is what i think it is based upon JJ interviews). Brown is a liability. Not only does he make mistakes defensively, he consistently makes them offensively....case in point - getting thrown out at second pushing an extra base last night....and he gets on base on more errors than any other player....his luck will run out at the wrong time - it always happens in sports.

Rizy has great potential. Would live to see what happened to Skenes happen to Rizy BEFORE he gets drafted. Skene's gained 5 mph on his fastball between his SO and JR seasons. That's not going to happen to Rizy, in all likelihood, but he could develop his pitch arsenal. Skenes threw a 2 seam and 4 seam fastball, had a nasty slider and a curveball. Oh, and Skenes had a 10:1 K to BB ratio. That is insane.

Rizy has great stuff, and seems to be able to throw strikes most of the time, but he's got some work to do.

I think Rizy/Schmidt/Evans could be an awesome weekend starting rotation next year if they stay healthy and keep improving. That is potentially 3 high draft picks, and would be awesome if it comes to fruition.

I've been wanting to see Larson get a midweek start for a few weeks now. Give him enough ABs to see if he can find some mojo and even if not you should be able to work around him. He hasn't looked great in opportunities lately, but they've been too rare to make a strong judgement. Id suspect jay sees him in practice though.

Brown needs to shave off some rough edges but overall he's been fine. I'm ok with him and Pearson platooning.

Agree that Brazzy needs to at least get the lions share of 3b.

Rizzy along with a number of other guys have appeared to be at least beginning to turn the corner which is a reason for optimism. Walks are the bane of any team but yeah we've gotta cut down on them.

I honestly never noticed Dickenson had an earring. Sounds like a hazard to me, but so does chains n such that they all wear so i guess not.

considering we throwing players in the line up that can't hit , you'd think Larson would have gotten more chances for some at bats throughout the season. We had guys who had severe droughts in hitting and jj never pulled them. Imo, its something more.

Not related to CJJ but when PM was here , a parent told me his son batted 400 in the fall AT LSU and had an excellent summer on the east coast. Once the season started about 2 weeks in, the son was 10 minutes late to a meeting, PM never played him again for the rest of the season. Kid transfered. That's some doghouse for ya there.

Problem with Larson, is he has not adjusted his approach. Teams know if they pitch him away, he will not hit. Chases away at a high rate. Teams made this adjustment the 2nd half of last season, that’s why his production faded. I know what he did in summer ball. That is different type of ball, more like showcase ball.
