Kid was a baller. What a fricked up situation this whole ordeal was.

He was fun to watch. Very sad for his family and the victim.

I’m curious if anyone has any stories about him, meeting him at a fan event, on campus, etc

Whatever his issues, he absolutely was. His call on the sideline before that game winning catch was epic and should be a permanent part of the Tiger Stadium legend. It doesn't get any better than calling for the ball in OT against a highly ranked rival and delivering on the next play. That the defender ended up on his arse with his legs in the air was just an extra bonus.

He had all the intangibles to have succeeded wildly in the NFL.....Very tragic and totally sad.

Wild the downvotes. Kid had some drops here and there but he also had some awesome plays. People forget that Jayden/Malik/BT year he was an amazing 3rd option. He made a mistake but wasn’t some gangbanger drug dealer. He had his entire life ahead of him and it sucks that he felt there was nothing left.

That Auburn game will forever be special to me. We whooped their arse, but that was the first time I bought my dad a ticket to a sporting event in appreciation for all the years he did that for us and our family. Lacy and Nabers had themselves a day, we didn’t get to see the ‘19 offense in action and I didn’t want to miss a chance to see the ‘23 offense with my dad.

RIP Kyren and for pushing through adversity long before the tragic wreck a few months ago. I hope we can all use this unfortunate situation to somehow better the lives of others who face similar challenges and that he's remembered for his love of football, his family, and LSU.
