Anyone getting their hopes up that Griff goes are just setting themselves up for disappointment. He will have Willie fall on the sword. If Willie survives then I just can’t support this team anymore. He’s a great guy and well liked but that doesn’t win games and he hasn’t developed some very good players. Zion should be top 5 in the NBA right now but he’s more like top 15-20.

I’m basing mine off of recent years it seems openly tanking teams haven’t picked top 3 outside of SA FOR wemby, but that was written two years before. I know everyone wants to believe the lottery isn’t rigged, but I think it absolutely is and blatantly tanking teams haven’t picked top been penalized in recent seasons.
Hopefully that continues

My hope in winning the lottery solely lies in the fact that the 4th best odds have yet to win the lottery since the odds changed. That has to change soon right?

IIRC we got AD with the 4th odds, as we tied with Cleveland for 3 and lost the coin flip to end up with fewer combinations.
