The Saudis hate alcohol consumption anyway

Well it’s not like anything they’re doing now is working

Then the PGA better figure out how to get some brand names on their leaderboards. Pro golf has truly killed the golden goose in a Tiger Woods Golden Era of golf. Jay Monahan is a hypocrite on a scale that only Rob Manfred can touch. LIV players are making so much money and having to play so little golf, and for many, they get to play closer to their home country and spend time with their families, they still seem very happy with what they're doing.
In the meantime, the PGA is stuck with a leaderboard every week that looks like an Asian invasion with a ton of nobodies from the European and Korn Ferry Tours. How else do you explain golfers like Max Homa being treated like he's won 10 majors every week? He hasn't.

The Saudis care about money.
Just money.

Almost 2 million people watched Brian Harman sleep walk to a win at the Valero open.
500k watched LIV on Fox that same week.
I think LIV has a significantly larger number of problems.

Kind of funny, but according to the tweet, LIV hired her last September. No one noticed or cared before now, so I doubt she's doing anything of consequence.

Nobody cares now. Someone just brought it up on the golf board yesterday so now it’s made its way here.

I wish I watched LIV so I could stop now.

And how is this good for fans that LIV was able to pay way over market value for golfers without worrying about a ROI?
Also, it seems like some of the LIV golfers don’t like the obscurity and non-competitive nature of LIV and would be willing to come back after their contract expires.

The PGA ratings are doing great this year and have rebounded to about pre-LIV levels while LIV’s rating are atrocious even with the Fox contract.
LIV is hemorrhaging money on player contracts, cost of running tournaments while also having to pay for production costs of their TV airings. Without PIF they would have never gotten off the ground.
Fans have voted and decided they don’t like the LIV product.

Economics 101. If LIV pays players a given amount, that is market value. Period.

Only in SA... which is why they have a bridge to Bahrain where they all go to drink

I don’t think they care about this. This is just a shiny toy for the people putting the money up.

We now live in a post-accountability world for the Elites & the Poor. Only the middle class is actually held accountable for their actions & bad decisions.

This is the equivalent of hiring Edward Smith to captain your ocean liner if he had survived the Titanic.

Both golf events were on major networks at the same time. How crazy is that?

I used to love watching golf. Now I have virtually no interest in it. I don't know if it's because players like Woods and Mickelson have faded in to the background, or if it's because the tour has been split in two. LIV seems to have done a good job of poaching name players, but I don't think I have watched more than twenty minutes of any LIV event. I have no idea when they are on, what channel they are on, etc. At this point I sort of watch majors, and that's pretty much it. And I play golf, probably fifty rounds a year.

Economics 101: Invest in talent that can eventually turn a profit for the company. That isn’t what LIV’s plans are.
You can throw out all economic theory when it comes to a country with trillions of oil money that doesn’t care about an ROI.

It's also somewhat interesting that someone as woke as her is so eager to work for "owners" that hold such antiquated and negative views about the rights that women should have.
