Hilarious.

In general, it's actually a good thing for the overall sport in the state but year that's bad.

Same reason they don’t in football. Break em off some cash & let em come to BR. Like we did for ages until recently

It's a continuation of something an LSU coach started years ago, playing at smaller Louisiana schools at least once a season to help build up and maintain interest in baseball in Louisiana. That coach was pretty good, his name was Skip something or other.

Is there even a visitor locker room at the box?

I miss when they’d come to Tulane, but they screwed up trying to price gouge everyone for that weekday game.

I’m sure it’s not the first time these guys have used a port-o-potty. IMO, it’s not a big deal and it helps a smaller in-state school. If it was a small school in another state, then I’d back your opinion.

Yes...I remember when LSU traveled to Minroe to play NLU (or maybe was ULM by then) Back when Patrick Coogan was playing. It was like a damn celebrity was in town. Packed the stadium...because LSU has that sort of following. I think it is great for the flagship university to help out the smaller schools...and to give those in distant places the chance to see what the noise is all about. It really is great for the State and State programs....and those that can't get to B.R. to watch a game.

Why would a home team roll out the red carpet for a visiting team

I recall two road trips in Skip’s second season; McNeese, Lamar and USL, and then Northwestern State and Centenary. And we played at Tulane as well.
