They know not to FAFO. It’s actually quite smart if the regime wants to stay in power and grow the country.

I thought this thread was going to be a Babylon Bee article saying that the Taliban needed more military equipment.

Be curious to know what deal was made for this. Abdul isn't inviting America back for nothing.

The gov prob applied some pressure on the Taliban so they could get it back and regain a regional presence in the area regarding Iran.

“At their request”, yeah, right. They knew it was going to be taken and are trying to give the appearance it’s on their terms.

Same thing I was thinking. It would be HUGE if he could do it. Headline would read "Trump Steels Goods From Needy Country".

I would guess it has something to do with China moving in and wanting to suck up Afghan natural resources. I could see Trump seeking as many ways as possible to get in Chinas way wherever amd whenever possible.

I don’t trust Zark.

quote:

According to a report by journalist Zark Shabab on Medium, the Taliban has allegedly handed over control of Bagram Air Base to the United States. U.S. military aircraft, including a C-17, reportedly landed at the base, delivering military equipment and senior intelligence officials. The arrival of high-ranking CIA figures, such as the Deputy Chief, suggests significant U.S. intelligence interests in the region. This move has raised questions about possible secret diplomacy or strategic shifts in U.S.-Taliban relations.

quote:

In a recent statement, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Taliban’s Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, rejected reports of a U.S. military C-17 aircraft landing at Bagram Airbase. Mujahid called these reports “propaganda” aimed at misleading the public. He emphasized that the Taliban would not permit any foreign military presence in Afghanistan, stressing that there was no current need for such presence.

quote:

Mujahid’s comments came in response to widespread report and rumors circulating on social media and some media outlets suggesting that U.S. forces were returning to Bagram. He categorically denied these claims, reinforcing the Taliban’s stance on sovereignty and non-interference. “Such an event is impossible,” he said.

Nah. I can't speak for everyone else, but I'm not one to post Bee articles as news items. I save that stuff for the meme thread.

Trump with talk directly to anyone.... he has met with Kim and NK, His team is talking with Iran, and his team talked to the taliban to plan the withdraw in2019.

Biden (his handlers) is the one who fricked up the withdraw and relations.

also, how many of our "enemies" are enemies because one of the many letter agencies want them to be......
