U.S. stocks have had a rough go of it since President Donald Trump was sworn into office for his second term in January.

Since Jan. 17, the Friday before Inauguration Day, the U.S. stock market has seen $9.6 trillion in value erased, according to data from FactSet and Dow Jones Market Data. Of those losses, $5 trillion has been erased just over the past two days -- the largest two-day loss on record.

Thin air. That’s not value that “went somewhere", it’s reflective of predicted future earnings.

Ok? Stocks go up and down. It could go down another 20k and I would still be fine with my vote for Trump.

You’re right they do. But when all of the stocks collectively crash due to something completely avoidable and can be pinned to one person that’s not a good thing. When mass layoffs happen as a result that’s not a good thing.

Yeah, for some amongst us that is the case indeed. Theoretically, the more the country loses under Trump, the more you and your associates win. Don’t start counting you winnings too early though. There’s the strongest of likelihoods that y’all will be wrong, it’s in your DNA.

This is misinformation. And if it isn't, it's biden's fault.

Crash? Cmon, it’s a necessary correction. Fake spending and government money is what propped up Wall Street and lead to huge gains.

The percentage of people that stock market losses impacts is far less than you want people to believe.

Main Street first, Wall Street second.

"Erased"

Yep. Once a stock goes down, it NEVER goes back up.
