Just curious. I'm spotty when it comes to basketball I admit. We all follow football obviously, but baseball is 1A for me. Does anyone here just not pay attention to it at all?

You said baseball in the title and then basketball in your post lol a bit confused. Why would you only follow one sport there’s plenty of good programs in fact they’re all competitive except men’s basketball

I don't.

I'm happy when LSU wins and like watching them play in the postseason (or on a weekend if there isn't anything else to watch), but baseball is not appointment viewing for me.

Basketball is the one for me that I don't follow that closely, especially when we suck. It's just my least favorite of the big 3.

Football and baseball is 1A and 1B for me.

Haven’t watched an LSU basketball game in years. Makes it easier not to now since they are so bad lately

Reading the rant, it seems like quite a few. Myself included sometimes with my shitty takes.

I was playing Dixie Youth when Skip started winning baseball championships in the early 90's so I was drawn to it. I attended Skip's summer baseball camp 3 years in a row from 92-94.

When I attended LSU for college Saban came in my freshmen year and turned football around for us.

I've followed the baseball team longer, but football is arguably more enjoyable to watch.

Us 40-45 year olds were born at a magical time to be LSU fans.

Hop on the rant during the game and you’ll see dozens of posters who don’t follow baseball. And a boat load more who certainly don’t understand it.

I imagine the people who fall into this category probably aren’t opening this board up a ton until summer ball.

Growing up I never really paid a ton of attention to it outside of when they would make a run in Omaha. As you get older there’s less on TV that interests you and more time to fill so it’s a perfect post football chaser and have grown to love baseball a lot more than I ever thought I would and watch nearly every game now

I only follow football, nothing against the other sports but they just aren't interesting to me

I've been following baseball since the mid 1980s and football since the 1970s (Bert Jones and Tommy Casanova years).

I only start watching when the team makes it to Omaha

No reason to watch until then.

At LSU, the season starts and ends in Omaha.

Anything else is a failure.

I haven’t followed college baseball at all since I graduated college 20 years ago. It’s college football and college basketball, although both have declined tremendously in the past 5 - 10 years.

College baseball, however, isn’t even a blip on the radar.

Probably where the confusion comes from. 80% of the comments are retarded.

Have to drown out all the nut sucking from Will Wade worshipping but there’s plenty of baseball talk. Sadly, most of it is Rant-tarded.

Love football because who doesn’t, love college baseball because of our success- probably wouldn’t if we were a doormat while I was growing up.

I have always struggled with college basketball. Even when LSU is good, I find the overall product to be bad. Officiating is awful, the end of games drags forever, and just too many missed open shots- I find it frustrating to watch.
