Why aren't the Democrats coming out in support for Trump's tariffs?

Board moderates have been telling me all week that supporting tariffs is leftist policy.
So, if Trump is doing what the leftists want why aren't they rallying behind him?
Browsing all their mouthpieces (CNN, MSNBC, etc.) they're all quite upset today.

Why didn't Biden get rid of Trump's tariffs? He didn't need Congress to do so.

Dems don’t really seem to have principles, and definitely no economic ideas.
If a sisgendered they/them/thing was president they’d be all about this. That’s how intellectually lazy they are.

I never said any admins are making this claim. Not sure where you're getting that from. But there is a board moderate who has already responded who was one of several who has told me that tariffs are leftist policy.

They don’t care about tariffs. They care about power and money. The unions were part their voter base and they left them for open borders and illegals (Obama utopia and globalism).
