Canada and Mexico are still critical. We can't just replace their output on a whim. All the US auto makers other than Tesla are highly dependent on their inputs at the moment.

Uh... yeah that's part of the issue. Honda and Tesla don't seem to have that problem why are US car companies needing Mexico or Canada in the first place?
