When other countries quit buying our debt. When you are clicking off 1 trillion in debt every 100 days that day is coming sooner rather than later.

This must be fake news. I have been told by many principled conservatives and moderates alike that Trump, more than anyone else, is responsible for the current debt situation and that there is zero chance that he would ever cut spending.

If they come up with a good budget in September, there's some people here who will need to admit they were wrong. Do I expect to see them own up to it? Of course not.

Getting congress to come up with a "good" budget will be the problem. There are plenty of RINO's to match with Dems. to kill a budget with a reduced deficit or god for bid the bench mark balanced budget.

Having seen a close example of NYC borrowing so much money that the debt service ate all of the maintenance budgets, it will be hard not to see it.
