Attorney General Pamela Bondi on Tuesday directed federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty for Luigi Mangione, the man accused of gunning down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City last year.
Mangione, 26, was federally charged in December with stalking and murdering Thompson after the CEO was gunned down outside of a hotel on the streets of midtown Manhattan. He was also charged with first-degree murder in furtherance of terrorism by state prosecutors.
Bondi said in a statement that she directed prosecutors to seek the death penalty as part of "President Trump’s agenda to stop violent crime and Make America Safe Again."
"Luigi Mangione’s murder of Brian Thompson — an innocent man and father of two young children — was a premeditated, cold-blooded assassination that shocked America," Bondi said

Murder is wrong. Period.
In a country that is screaming for accountability - this cannot go unpunished.
There are more constructive ways to address the insurance issue than vigilante justice & cold-blooded murder.

As they should.
He planned in advance the cold blooded execution of a man, carried it out, killed him, and then fled.

Luigi needs to die for his crime. End of story.

Good. The idiot murdered someone on the street and thinks he’s a hero. He should be put to death.

I agree with the entire statement but this part....this glosses over the fact that a surprising number of Americans seem to think that Mangione is a hero.....a disturbing fact for certain. Seriously, if you are celebrating this man killing this other man you need to look inward....

People that worship him are retards.
Trust fund kid screws up his back doing risky shite, blames someone net related to his malady for his problem and the Left celebrates.
They are as fricked up and petty as Luigi.

I support this. Can they douse him in gasoline and toss a match?
He was a literal silver spoon 1%er who never missed a meal or doctors visit his entire life. Went to Ivy League school, started spending lots of time on Reddit, graduated and realized that the real world is HARD
Decided to hunt down a man he had never met nor had any relationship business or otherwise with and assassinate him for the lulz and attention.
Sadly tens of thousands of low IQ retards who don't understand how our healthcare system works (government, pharma, doctors, and insurance all colluding to rape us) think that assassinating people they disagree with will lead to free unicorn farts and tranny pills for everyone.

It ain't just the left. I hear a BUNCH of Trump supporters talking about Mangione like he is some kind of Modern Day Robin Hood. I can hear about 20 of them as we speak eating lunch who are adamant about their support of Trump and when this story was new and fresh they were all about it serving the bastard right. I also know that many on the left share that opinion. The fact is that hating insurance company executives transcends political party ideology...it is one thing the left and right can agree on. Executing them in cold blood is a bridge waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy to far to tolerate in a civilized nation....

This won’t be the last one, that’s a guarantee.
