HVL looks just like she did at LSU. Where is this improvement?

I started watching at the 9 minute mark. Back to back possessions HVL turned the ball over . Then her bad defense lead to a Texas score. She doesn’t look improved to me.

She just drove to the basket and scored with a defender hanging all over her. I don't remember her doing that a single time last year.

The improvement was she played in a much lesser conference IMO. However, I do think she's playing much better than a season ago.
They look sloppy against Texas, but maybe they have a chance, because Texas doesn't really score a lot.

Slowest feet and cannot any guard with a pulse. She is just not good on defense.

She just turned it over for the THIRD TIME IN 3 minutes

She's 1 for 4 with 4 turnovers in the first 13 minutes of the game.

I too like hvl but she doesn't compete well against top tier teams. She played in a weak conference. I stated yesterday she would struggle today , her defense is abysmal, slow to the ball, she has to have a screen to penetrate or score - Texas will keep the pressure on her al night.

Well shite, you watched 2 possessions. SHe must not have improved.

This board has to have the highest rate of people who literally don’t watch any basketball an entire season and make broad judgements after 2 minutes if watching

More than 3 Lester the molester. I said she has turned the ball over 3 times in 3 minutes since I started watching. Where is the improvement? It’s exactly how she looked at LSU

LMAO
I'm not calling her a superstar, BUT, tons of stars ton the ball over, multiple times, as they start playing tougher competition in the tourney. Ask Alabama and Tenn in the NCAA Trny.
But, the hate for her is noted. They probably just put up misleading stats for her to promote whitey. She was an all american and I believe also an elite 8 or final four with Louisville as well prior to coming to LSU...and led her team there as well, as she led this elite 8 team.

She’s looking like Gilbert yesterday

been watching hvl since she was at louisville--She will not make it in the WNBA- may get to play over seas- are 3 on 3 . Personally I would love to see her score 20 or 30 tonight but I don't see it

Nobody on our team looked good against Texas except Morrow. TCU is the lesser team so she'll probably not play great and they'll probably lose. She had a good year this year so congrats to her.

ok, you are just an idiot or a troll. She is an all-american team leader this year....even if she did have a few turnovers. You people are so ignorant on here.

She's 1 of 6 now with 4 turnovers already.
She was BIG 12 player of the year, but somewhat struggling so far against Texas.
I like HVL and don't get the criticism, but I do think a lot of her improvement was playing against much lesser competition.

I'm not watching the game, but I'm sure they are selling out to stop the leading scorer for TCU....would be my gameplan.

Have you watched a lot of TCU women’s basketball? I have not , but this board went on and on about how much she’s improved. Yes it’s early in the game but she has already turned the ball over 3 times in the 1st quarter since I’ve been watching. That’s exactly WHAT SHE DID AT LSU! Where is this “ALL AMERICAN improvement?”
