Good. 8 or so years ago, A female running a 18 minute 2 mile, 10 pushups, 20 situps earns more promotion points than a male running a 13:30 two mile, 70 pushups, 70 situps. I always thought it was bullshite because it directly affects promotion up to E6

It’s silly enough as it is that we even let women in the military to begin with. But to give them lower standards is just ridiculous.

This is great.
Women shouldn't be in combat roles, this adjustment will make sure only the burliest ladies, the most competent ladies even get the chance- and having earned the combat role, will be less of a drag on their male counterparts than they were before.
Won't completely eliminate the drag, but will certainly greatly reduce it.

This should never have been a question and or implemented.
Soldiers lives are on the line and that should be the ultimate price you pay if you place unfit “people” in roles they just aren’t physically built for.
I’ve seen Tulsi on film doing her thing and while seemingly a “badass” for a woman, she would place in the bottom 5-10% of men if she went head to head in a live field training session.
Support roles and intelligence I’m fine with, but people need to know they can trust who has their 6 at all times without hesitation in the field.

Milley tried to make a PT test with the same standards and it failed. Well, the women failed. Maybe this will stop these women going to ranger school and selection and getting endless recycles.

Women simply don’t have the upper body strength and endurance to help the Marine grunt on the ground when the shite hits the fan after days on patrol or recon.

The problems that come with a mixed gender military actually have very little to do with the physical limitations of females.
