Main question is do our pitchers themselves trust Yeskie?

I remember Herd say last year after the SEC tournament game that he did great in after the 3rd or 4th the reporter asked him what he did differently and he said he didn't like what yeskie was calling he didn't trust those pitch types he was calling because the same batter nailed that pitch off the starter and herd when he first came in so herd said I trusted my own stuff and threw what I wanted and it paid off so I'm not sure but it doest Sound like they like or trust him. I know I don't. Please be respectful with your answers .

Well, regardless if what you said about Hurd is true or how anyone feels about Yeskie - one thing that's absolutely factual is he's terrible at the pitch calls. I've seen him call 12 straight fastballs one time. LSU's last game last year was handed over because of Yeskie doing exactly this letting the other team crush the ball timely. Anyone who watches LSU baseball knows this is an issue right now and it was an issue last year. He's absolutely terrible at this regardless how you feel about him as a pitching coach. That right now is undebatable. It's at least questionable almost like he has no feel for the game.

Why must fans always look to the negative after a series sweep.why can’t people just enjoy the ride.

Trust? Idk
Has to be a bit difficult for him considering how many guys need attention lol.
I think Eyanson & Shores have both shown improvements in their pitch sequencing & ability to miss bats this week,

Seems like hot air
Hurd had issues before Yeskie ever arrived at LSU
There is definitely something to be said about the mental preparation, confidence, etc that seems to be a wider issue here. I can understand it for some of the younger guys but we need to do a better job with the psychological aspects of pitching imo.
I’m sure just being at LSU adds a layer there that’s unlike most places, due to the weight and pressures brought on by the tradition, large fan following and crowds etc.
It sure seems like we keep getting more and more premium arms but have less and less ability to overcome consistent command issues.

Doesn’t really matter honestly. It’s college baseball, at that level, you throw what is called.
Bottom line: our guys need to learn to throw more strikes and command the zone. The rest will follow

same was said about Herring too...didnt like his pitch calls. Something to think about. I vote breathalyzer test before every game because it seems like some of his calls were inebriated.

It does not matter if a pitch call was good or bad. The pitcher still has to hit the spot. The coach calls a pitch the player executes the pitch. It is really that simple. All this talk about wanting to hold coach accountable for something the player fails to do is just wrong. Why do you think a coach makes a kid bunt with 2 strikes when the failed to lay the first two pitches down? Because the coach is pissed the kid did not do his job. Some times lessons need to be learned. Young kids need to be developed, this takes time. SEC pitching and SEC hitting is next level. Some of these young pictures are not there, yet!!!

With the way sec lineups are stacked now if you can’t command at least 3 pitches these hitters are too good and will sit on that fastball no matter how hard you bring it

Lsu fans aren’t happy unless some coach is fired. They got a weird boner for it
