Going to be in the Louisville-Lexington area for a week in June. I'll have time to probably tour one of the 2 tracks. I'm a total horse racing novice, I might watch the KY Derby once every couple of years. Is one of these better than the others to just check out and tour?

I've been to both, Churchill when I was young. It's in the middle of a neighborhood. Fun time.

Keeneland in college during some special week where they had lots of races. Also awesome.

You'll get some good inside info, we have a few horse people on this board, including Aspercel.

Ky Derby museum and a tour of Churchill is cool. Keeneland better overall environment on race day.

If you have time, book a tour at Claiborne Farm. Provides a tour showing some of their stallions as well as the breeding shed. Also has the cemetery where Secretariat is buried.
