He’s a freshman. He gets his at bats when gets them and we let the other guys play. Unless he goes out of control on a hot streak he’s a pinch hitter

Yeah, let’s put a lazy catcher at first base. That seems like a really good idea. I mean first basemen don’t have to catch anything.

Coming out of high school he was listed as a catcher/outfielder. His arm strength is elite. I don’t know how much experience in the outfield he had in high school? I’ve never seen a D1 catcher look this bad. He cannot receive or block pitches worth a darn.
