Hell yes

Yes it’s a risk with injuries/ age, yes it’s an over pay, but he’s a pro and pats have nothing but cash to burn and running out of options to have a real NFL WR catching passes next year

Ton of money for his age and attitude. Feel bad for the sulking Drake will have to endure when he doesn’t realize he’s not the receiver he once was and keeps demanding the ball.

You are obviously in denial and trying to talk yourself into liking this. This is a terrible signing for that amount of money.

Ill eat my words if he has a resurgence.

Not really. I’m not saying he’s gonna be Randy moss but it’s a no brainer shot to take to fill a massive need. There’s not many other options out there that have the same upside that don’t cost draft capital

Who cares about money in that position? They have a stack of it with no one to spend it on. 26 mil GTD over 3 years is nothing if it goes sideways.

Outside of the injury, he hasn’t really fallen off from a production standpoint. Reportedly will be ready week 1.

Seems like kind of a volatile shithead to pair with a young qb but I guess you have to overpay with this wr market

Dude, you don’t have to sell this.

An aging WR who was going downhill while healthy with an MVP qb who is now coming off major knee surgery to play with a young QB while he is an absolute locker room cancer

Yeh, you are pumped

He was rotten fired spoiled over salted ball taint in Buffalo the last year

I’m not selling anything to anyone, believe what you want about it, I’m excited for it. Could be wrong. Wouldn’t be the first or last. But there’s not a whole lot of more appealing options out there.

I cannot express to you the dogshit the pats have put on the field at that position. Beggars and choosers and all that

Got noone to compete with for targets. If he sucks he’ll be cut. Pats have 70-80 mil in space already with the first wave of FA done and the cap will go up without many players worth paying on the roster that sum of cash. The only more talented options would cost more contractually and take a draft pick in a trade.

Top WRs are making 30 - 40 mil a season right now, yall gotta put a 26 mil guarantee over 3 years into some perspective

Only 26mil guaranteed for 3 years at a premium position for a team with plenty of cap space. Hardly any risk there.
