Do you really think Yeskie is calling for meatballs over the plate on 0-2 counts? It’s the pitchers. I know it all falls on him but I promise you he’s not calling for pitches right down the plate on 0-2 counts.

He’s had two chances. 2022 and 2024.
Fwiw Arkansas made the CWS in 2022. They were also a national seed in 2023 and 2024. LSU was on edge about making the post season for most of 2022 and 2024. Is Ed O a better coach than Sarkisian and Kiffin because he won a title?

This (along with my blazing lack of other qualifications) is why I couldn’t be a coach. Putting up with out of control loud criticism and outrage from fans who don’t know the first thing that they’re talking about would get to me after a while.
“But I played college baseball”. So what? That doesn’t mean that you know the first thing about running a D1 program like LSU’s.
“I played in high school!” Next.
“I’ve been a fan for x years!” Please.
I just couldn’t deal with it.

I would say yes. Sark and Kiffin have had long enough to recruit and develop their type of players and still, have less nattys combined than Ed O. Are they better at X’s and O’s than coach O? On offense absolutely, and maybe on defense too. They still haven’t put it all together to win anything of note though. So in the grand scheme of things Ed O will always be a better coach than they are until they win a natty. Especially in Sarks case!

WE have a lot of Beta boys on here that have all the answers, yet are massive losers in life.
LSU is 4-2 to start the SEC Season. I hope they win every series from here on out, 2-1. We would finish 20-10 and a definite national seed. But, don't try to talk reason around here.

Dude, you are on the wrong board for this. Overall results don't matter. Championships don't matter. Hell, WW is a future HOF coach, without a doubt, despite never coaching on the bench with a chance to advance to the elite 8. Sark will probably win a title some day. Kiffin never will, unless he gets out of Mississippi.
