Too much hype around this LSU baseball team right now. Pitching about to be exposed.
LSU will be swept this weekend.
Talk to yall Sunday night

Do other teams have all these “fans” that desperately want their teams to fail? Or is this another uniquely Louisiana thing

So, come Sunday night the Tigers win at least 2 of 3 you agree to being banned forever on this message board?

Some “fans” build an opinion of their team and would prefer to be right, rather than the team make their opinion look stupid.

Stop trying to make pride month come early with this thread

Anything is possible. I’m hoping to win 2 there, but certainly we may get 1 or 0. That said, though, I’m not sure what the hell you’ve been watching to leap with such conviction that LSU will be swept.

By UT?
There are 101 college baseball teams that handle pitchers better than UT, based on OBP. For context, fellow rival LSU is 3rd in the nation.
Good luck with that.

This example might just be a psychological adaptation.
He would love to be wrong because that means his team survived a tough weekend. But if he’s right, he can still feel empowered, despite an LSU loss.
I make no personal judgements about it. I can relate, as I once went through that phase…back when I was a fricking moron.

Why does every 08 poster fricking suck? Are they all the same person??

The goal this weekend is to not get swept. 2/3 would be a god send
Posted on 3/20/25 at 8:52 pm to Honkus
With a fair home plate ump I think we sweep them
Posted on 3/20/25 at 9:09 pm to 08Tiger
Is this like a reverse curse thread?
Posted on 3/20/25 at 9:10 pm to 08Tiger
I love the reverse psychology you got going on
LSU CANT WIN!!!

And Texas is that good for a sweep against us in your expert opinion?

This. If you look at Texas stats our starters beat their starters in WHIP, if you take all the balls Chase Shores got hit less than 90 off the bat we dominating them in WHIP. We've scored 100 more runs than them. They've scored roughly the same amount of runs as Mizzou and their team average is comparable to Mizzou. I think they have a 0.3 ERA advantage but when you've scored 100 less runs you have to have a shorter leash on pitching.
