Each week it drops to low-mid $20s and then goes up to mid 30s. Highest was $43 a week or two ago. I keep buying and selling and getting a good return!

How do you avoid "wash sales"?
Posted on 3/17/25 at 5:26 pm to CatsGoneWild
I can put a stop to that with one purchase

Nothing, just can't claim it as a loss for tax reasons.but if he's buying low and selling hi, there should be no loss. SHOULD being the operative word.

I’m buying cheap and selling high. Not losing

It’s still up 4 bucks from what I bought it at noon for.

I have a friend that tried this strategy with a gold miner called GORO. Worked great for a years, he thought he was a genius…. Until he bought it low, and it never recovered.
Years of work and gains gone just like that, poof

I barked up this tree. It is a scary investment. It is very cyclical, and it seems at a bottom now. However, you never really know when the bottom is, and when you see it tank another 20%, it gets hard to hold on.
My Biggest Concern: They claim some $20 billion investment from a guy who has 0 internet presence besides being evicted from his home in Brazil. Somehow this guy is going to come up with $100 billion of investment into Brazil's economy, and somehow an additional $20 billion to Gorilla. He has 0 internet presence. There was a short report put out that this guy has 18 court cases from defrauding various people from Brazil. It has absolutely 0 weight this $20 bil claim by Gorilla. Dude they partnered with is a total piece of shite loser with $0 to his name. They have 0 money outside the US, Europe, maybe Japan. When you have no money, zero regulation, and nothing to lose, it sets up everyone to commit fraud.
I mean use common sense, no one in Brazil has $120 bil of investment dollars whether an individual or company. Especially not a guy who got evicted from his house. Only buy American stocks. I might add European in there too. However, International stocks and companies are so f*cking sketchy and will defraud with 0 remorse to get money. They all do it outside US and Europe.

Time to buy!
GRRR
The stock lies in the lower part of a very wide and strong rising trend in the short term, and this may normally pose a very good buying opportunity. If the lower trend floor at $23.98 is broken, it will firstly indicate a slower rate of rising, but may also be an early warning for a trend shift. Given the current short-term trend, the stock is expected to rise 54.43% during the next 3 months and, with a 90% probability hold a price between $37.04 and $72.85 at the end of this 3-month period.

Brazil has become a breeding ground for this stuff. Anyone remember the Nubank thread? The Brazilian fintech specializing in micro finance loans to Amazonian bush people…
Don’t forget MT’s favorite flooring company turned web3 disruptor HMBL is now owned by a Brazilian holding company.
“ Globally, Brazil’s 51% dwarfs the U.S.’s 25%, the UK’s 13%, and Japan’s mere 5%, signaling a unique vulnerability tied to rapid digital growth and economic gaps.
Brazil’s Fraud Epidemic: Half the Nation Hit in 2024 Brazil’s Fraud Epidemic: Half the Nation Hit in 2024. Behind these numbers lies Brazil’s struggle with its instant payment system, adopted by over 80% of the population since 2020. Its convenience invites exploitation, amplified by 16.3% losing documents and 19% sharing data online.”
