I'm a huge fan of everything that is built now having the arch-style with the tiled roof.

It'd be awesome if the PMAC could resemble that of sorts...cameron indoor looks nothing like an arena from the outside.

Thats what it looks like.. It would be a logistical nightmare to have the first games at the old box.. What would you do with the extra tickets? Whose seats go where in mapping the new box to the old one?

The Cox Center could have easily been expanded...

I've always found it odd to have this very historic campus with a Space Mountain-esque building...

Nice, do ya'll tailgate for any of the Baseball games? I'm trying to figure out where we can setup for a few of the big SEC Saturday games.

Are you saying they should have made the Cox building the new arena?

friday's we usually just bring an ice chest out since most have to work. some saturdays we'll do a small tailgate but often again just roll out an ice chest.

Basically. It was originally the gymnasium. Instead of building the PMAC in the 70's they could have expanded the Cox Building.

Or they could have built the PMAC to resemble the rest of the campus. Here is Cameron Indoor's exterior.

Yea, we like to do crawfish at least once before a Saturday game. Last year was great because we did it during the Bama doubleheader. We fed the marshall who oversees R5 and the Grounds Crew entrance and he just let us stand along the foul line near that gate.

It seats a little more than 9,000. We wouldn't even be able to fill it up.

I can count on one hand the number of times we've had an actual attendance greater than 9,300 in the last 5 years.

so the pmac is like 1 1/2 times its size. making the pmac fit into the campus theme would be great. i just dont know how feasible it is. especially at this point at least.
