Pretty good get for that venue.

Also booked Willie Nelson, Skillet, and John Waite.

That's cool

But I will never waste my time seeing Counting Crows live again
They butcher their songs to the point of being unrecognizable

Counting crows are as good as ever live. Adam’s voice range is still top notch and less talking spoken word stuff. It’s a great show

Disagree, saw them in red rocks and they butchered their own songs to the point they were unrecognizable. Saw them again a couple years later at Saenger hoping for a better performance and was completely disappointed. Do not waste your time on them live.

Saw them 10 years ago and it was 50/50.

Their first two albums were records I knew front to back. So it is tough when breaks into poetry instead of vocals. But the other half were worth my money.

How much? Am I seeing $85 presale prices? Seems a bit too much. On second look, those are for seats. Lawn should be cheaper.
Also: looks like they will be at Sanger on the 30th too.

Feels like it totally depends on how duritz is feeling during the tour. Obviously I’ve heard great cc live albums, but I’ve also heard a songs that were cringe with the spoken word/poetry crap. Luckily the shows I’ve been too he stuck to the script for the most part, making it enjoyable. The band should at least sound good.

Would rather see the anthem be the headliner. The Saenger is expensive for tix. Thinking a Sunday in Gautier would be great. Does anyone have experience at the venue?

CC are getting up there in age now, but I've seen some amazing shows from them back in the late 90s and 00s. The Shim Sham Club show in '02 after Jazz Fest is one of my favorite live music experiences. Adam may not sing as well now, but he could sing his arse off back then.

Would much rather Gaslight as the headliner.
