frick the slow start, we know you guys can hit in the SEC.
Go to Fred's, find some nice ladies to help you forget about baseball for the night, and come back ready to rake cause it's SEC time now.

Braswell has been atrocious. Hoping he can turn it around like he did last year

Way to Geaux, Michael, Ashton, you were Summer 2024 – Chatham Anglers’ Most Outstanding Player in the Cape Cod League, get that stroke back, we're all pulling for ya, bebe

They will both have big plays for us this year

Not Fred's, my daughter frequents that establishment

I love the Post giving guys encouragement not bashing or criticizing like many do on this board . You showed some class Kaliper that’s what a Tiger is all about .

Braswell will get his chance again, I believe in the kid.

I'm a big Larson fan think he could be great but man he's had some ugly ABs here lately.

I feel like he’s had ugly at bats since the beginning. Last year he had good days and bad days. He just hasn’t had the good days this year. Hopefully they show up in conference.

Why? You don’t want some future travel ball all stars?

They've both looked lost of late. Even braswell in the field has looked rough. We've seen both produce last year so we know they're plenty capable. Problem for then is that their opportunities are going to be limited on this year's team until they do. Last year we had holes at their positions, this year much less so, although both have potential to be the best options if they're firing at all cylinders. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.
If I had to guess Braswell is going to get the majority of time this weekend at 3b, though it may not be by much. Larson may get a DH start but is more likely to have to settle for a few spotted PH opportunities.

You should’ve raised her better. Too late now to be concerned.

Jay started Reaves at 3B the last 4 games, why would he pull him for the worst hitter on the team?
It’s safe to say that Jay doesn’t take as much stock into what his players did last year and is going to play his best players this year.

You may very well be right, but how many fielding opportunities did Reaves actually get? He's been good at the plate, i just don't know that I'm sold on his defense (yet, at least). Braswell has been good at 3rd overall.

you can almost feel the stress and pressure Larson is putting on himself to perform with the very few opportunities he's gotten. I wish Jay would give him a longer leash to work things out.

Jay is giving Reaves the opportunity to beat out Braswell. He hasn't really taken the job yet. He's trying to decide if there's someone better at 3B than Braswell. That's why he got 4 starts in a row

And who does Jay take opportunities away from in order to do that?
Josh Pearson? His .314 hitter who he talks about trusting more than anyone?
Ethan Frey? Who’s hitting .346 with 2 HRs in limited ABs?
At the end of the day, you can only put 9 in the lineup. Jay is around these guys more than anyone, it’s beyond time to trust his reasoning.
