Since no one wanted to help me with my questions about certain cuts from programs, what’s the real story behind Trump selling muh public lands.

I think public lands can be an important aspect of a thriving society. There are all sorts of federal public lands obviously.

I obviously don’t trust the NPC response that suggests Trump will be selling Yellowstone to George Bligh, Sr. to develop Sudden Valley Phase II.

But does anyone have a reliable source regarding what is being sold, under what conditions, to whom, and for what purposes?

We do need transparency with and publication of these plans or else all I can respond with is, “That isn’t happened. You’re dumb.”

I’ve only heard of timber leases being sold on public property. The same way it’s been done for 50 years and an essential way to create and maintain wildlife habitat.

But what do I know.

I'm ok with this on its face. Selling off our public lands I'm not, so hope this isn't the case.

Conservation is important, but letting lefties hinder proper MGMT is not good.

I’ve heard rumbling but haven’t looked into it.

Look up Randy Newberg on You Tube he is a hunter and public land advocate that knows his shite. If he’s worried about it it’s something to worry about.

I thought it more had to do with u used office buildings. But, that may be something different.

I’m fine selling off public land. The largest landowner in the US is the US government.

To my knowledge, there has been no change in the BLM's ongoing occasional purchases and sales of scattered properties.

If you'll tell me which ones you're currently in histrionics about, I'd love to evaluate and gibe my opinion.

Not sure I'm against selling a little...If we sold 10 million acres @ $10k per, would be $100 billion. That can Ukraine a lot of weapons!

We live in Montana (and venture into Idaho) a big chunk of the year. So it’s a combo of just random people out there and LOTS of dumbasses on Facebook groups (from camper van and RV groups to fishing to backcountry skiing).

I’m going to start asking politely for more information and I’ll post screenshots.

it all should be sold off, the federal and state governments should not be keeping vast amounts of land away from private citizens.

no national parks, federal forests, or "monuments", etc. all such BS

look at texas, hunting is so much easier. just buy a lease and it's yours for a set time. no worrying about thugs or methheads.

As someone who hunts in the PNW and lived/hunted in Texas for 8-9 years, this is the single worst argument for selling off public land. I can harvest white tail, mule deer, elk, turkey, grouse, quail, pheasant, duck, goose, etc. 30-60 min from my home without paying any $ other than the tag and ammo. I mean you have to pay someone else to hunt pigs in TX and they are invasive pests. Screw that.

Texas is fricking awful.

Vast protected federal wilderness is part of what makes America great. Once that is gone, it will NEVER come back.

This is one place where the right misses the mark, big time. If you care one modicum about future generations' ability to enjoy the wilderness selling federal lands should give you major concern.

why should my tax dollars go to fund your hobbies and entertainment?
why should the government complete against private enterprise.
it's all BS socialism created by that traitor Roosevelt.
luckily the current administration knows
this.

If you add the land and it's mineral resources to the balance sheet (like every business does), we are not $37 Trillion in debt.

Right, not even close.

I'm cool with it not being accounted in that way though. As soon as it is accounted like that, it'll start getting raped and pillaged more than it already is.
