Chiefs currently only have 6 total picks in the draft (0 4th round picks) and are right up against the cap while trying to resign a few free agents of their own. Certainly could make the room but a couple other teams out there that would gladly outpace that compensation for trade and on a new contract for DK

Not sure he made the comp absurd enough to make that obvious but fair enough if so. If the chiefs had more capital that would be fairly reasonable trade capital for how these tend to shake out, although in this case I think there’s gonna be a few more aggressive sharks in the market to compete against vs something like the Hopkins deal they did last year
