I trust Jay Johnson more than I did Mainieri. Seems to have a much better grasp on scouting reports. And seems to know when to pinch hit certain players.

I beg to differ. Hosting Supers is what really matters. Getting to 18 wins is the objective.

Playing 56 regular season games makes 1 loss to a bad RPI team non important especially if you are winning most of the SEC series.
