As soon as a Democrat gets elected President and unfortunately, it will probably be in 2028, they'll continue on with the DOE (or just rebuild it).

I highly doubt it.
First of all, the Democratic Party is in shambles and there’s no back bench worth mentioning. Is Kamala gonna get elected in 2028? Yeah, right!
Secondly, if the DOE is abolished, and the schools keep on ticking with local and state control, where will the Dems find the support to reestablish a worthless agency that costs $80 BILLION per year, especially if Trump is able to substantially reduce the debt or even balance the budget.
Like most democrats, I think you are oblivious to the support Trump is getting and which will continue to grow as the waste fraud and abuse is being exposed and eliminated.
