Like myself Write the Athletic office showing displeasure in choosing D1 to broadcast games.

Did you pay for the streaming package?
Because if you didn’t, you saw as much of the game as anyone else would have if they didn’t stream the games.

We should be more concerned with fat Scott allowing MM to be the Kendall Rogers of basketball coaches

D1 dropped the ball for sure, but the athletic department has nothing to do with who televises the games. These tournaments are great for LSU players, great for getting competition, great for recruiting, great for LSU fans in that area. As much as it sucks, fans being able to watch on TV is way down the list. And if nobody outside of D1 is in line to stream these games, then it is what it is. Not worth complaining about.

Years ago people complained about a weak OOC slate before SEC games. People seem to forget that a lot of big names don’t want to play LSU at the Box to start the year.
Now we go on the road vs solid teams in tournaments and people complain.
People just like to complain. And don’t get me wrong, the D1 broadcast this year has been shite. Still happy to see my team play.

Don’t know why I’ve never thought of it like this but that’s a great point.

Outside of the announcers, every aspect of the broadcast has been subpar.
I have a feeling they just used the same people that handle the Rough Riders games for MILB TV. But Minor League Baseball is a “be there” thing. No one gives a shite about the production values on the games because the streaming audience is minuscule.

I appreciate the sentiment, but if you want to be taken seriously that grammar needs to be cleaned up a bit.

You can even hear the announcers getting frustrated with the lack of quality production. Multiple times yesterday apologizing for the product.

How much does it cost to set up some cloud servers, establish a broadcast, set up a couple of cameras, get a decent by play guy, and toss it out on the web to access. Seems like a smart IT guy can get this done and profit as D1Baseball does.
He’ll, some HS or college dudes getting into the communications/broadcast business would jump at the chance to host a tournament. Can’t be any worse than what I’ve read here about this weekend’s games.

I’m a stickler for grammar as well, BUT he did fight in Vietnam, so I don’t like the idea of chastising him for grammar.

I remember when there were no college baseball telecasts. I remember when there was only one SEC basketball game broadcast on Saturday so you watched only 2-5 games a year. I remember when There were only 2 LSU football games televised every year.
Some of you people are some spoiled arse entitled complainers.

Still happy to see my team play.
You missed the assignment.

Toss in the fact that WJBO on AM radio was where the games were broadcast, so daytime games were almost impossible to tune in if you weren't in Baton Rouge proper.

I didn’t miss anything.
I remember the days when the only way for an out of state person to follow LSU baseball was through GMorgan’s BPB on this site. That’s why I signed up to TD.
I remember in 2009 regionals not being televised and having to watch Live Stat updates with little Life pegs running around bases.
I experienced issues and missed 4 innings of the first game through D1’s lack of preparedness after promises they were ready. I stated I haven’t exactly been pleased by the product they’ve produced, but I still have gotten to see 5 innings of game 1 and the full game 2. I’m appreciative I have the ability to watch my team play vs only words on a screen.
Enjoy. About to put game 3 on.

Maybe you'd feel different if you did.

Can you read or just arguing to argue? I stated I had issues and missed half of the 1st game.
The “I didn’t miss anything” was a reply to you saying I missed the assignment. Use some critical thinking and read the whole response.
