If you can make some money in the short term, go for it. Overall, though, crypto is nothing but a scam. If they pull the cord on the internet, crypto is gone. If our society gets to the point where you must use crypto to survive, the internet will be gone. Also, like any digital currency, if the govt wants it, they'll just take it.

ADA might be an ok play, but XRP definitely has an inside track. Brad was at the inauguration and has had multiple dinners with Trump and JD as well as donating millions. Ripple has been working with banks and companies all over the world for years and every bank in Japan is onboard with President Trump's favorite Softbank leading the charge. The sham SEC lawsuit was holding XRP back, but it is dead now and the future is bright.

Hey gramps, that all applies to the money in any bank account or brokerage also. Very little of the money supply and assets in general are physical in nature. Yes, you can stash cash under your mattress or by gold from those commercials on Fox and it is good to have some cash/assets on hand but if you want true appreciation you have to get in the game.
