Pitino only year 2 at St. John’s: 26-4 and just won big east for first time in 40 years

I doubt St. John’s has more NIL resources than lsu basketball.
I’m not arguing that McMahon should be 26-4, but by year 3, it’s not unreasonable to expect like a 22-9 or 21-10 record or so

Pitino to McMahon is like a pit bull to a bichon frisé

I think McMahon is probably a better x and o (“student of the game”) basketball mind than Pitino, but Pitino is a much better roster builder and overall teacher than MM

Look right across the bench. Chris Jans is about to have Moo State in the tournament in all 3 of his years there. He has a better and tougher culture that’s designed for a program that will never recruit the best talent in basketball. That’s who LSU is in today’s SEC. McMahon is trying to out athlete teams with far superior talent.

Well you thought wrong, about as wrong as possible.

Holy shite

Pitino is also one of the best to ever do it.

This is undoubtedly the dumbest thing posted on this website today.

Ok. I’m going to need you to show your work here, because this statement makes zero sense to me. Pitino has forgotten more than McMahon has ever learned about coaching basketball.

The right coach at LSU will get top players here, and even win a lot with them. Look at Dale, Brady (very inconsistently) and WILL WADE.
Hell, even Johnny's retarded arse signed ELITE players here.
One of the most often repeated, ONE BILLION PERCENT wrong takes on here is that elite players won't come to play at LSU. They have for decades.
