Josh Pearson.

He was part of the play that gunned down the runner at home plate in the bottom of the 9th and had the clutch hit to knock in the go ahead run in the top of the 10th

I’m sure he will be thrilled to hear it

Pearson has come up with some clutch plays during his time here. May not be the most physical gifted but that Baw knows how to make a play when we need one

The last out, by Milam, was quite a play, too.

The guy is money. Stats might be meh, I like him up there in a clutch. Gives me a 3rd and 17 feeling.

Maybe the first time someone with 6 RBI (Dickinson) doesn't get magic moment.

Dickinson??? If talking the bottom of the 9th play by the second baseman, that would be Daniel Dickinson.

Guess it can only go to one player but that was a beauty of a baseball play by all 3 involved.. Milam didn’t even have to move his feet on Pearsons throw and then delivers an absolute seed to Hernandez who laid the tag down on a runner in mid air on his slide.

Unbelievable.

LSU has played some really good defense in the field so far this year. Behind the plate has been a challenge at times and our pitchers have made some errors, but the other position players have been really good.

I agree with you but dang it would be so hard not to give it to Dickinson with the game he had

I guess you’re right. I didn’t see the game, but in the highlights I saw I thought I heard the commentator say Milam. I figured CJJ was flipping his infield like he did to hide Dugas.
