To me Davis leaving isn't the end of the world. LSU can get someone to replace him. I'm sure it will someone just as good.

I heard the interview. He is the best DL coach in the history of LSU football. Too bad he is 100 years old.

Pete should have a lifetime job even part time analyst if he wants it.

Jenkins was the best, BK should bring him back, don't care even if LSU has to buy him a nice, covered scooter to get around!

So they have a plan. They’re not gonna just roll with Peoples or promote Rasco. Plenty of great guys to choose from, excited to see who they get

Kyle Williams made almost $60 million in his NFL career. It’s one thing to go back home and coach at your high school alma mater (I’m pretty sure he left his Ruston High gig to pursue other business interests—that will likely keep him more on the Squire Creek course), but he’s made way too much money to put in the hours it takes to be a college coach, especially in today’s era of college football.

He’s done his time. He’s put in his work. Time to enjoy his retirement. I have no doubt he would enjoy the coaching part, but the rest is for guys who didn’t make $60 million in a 13-year NFL career whose pension likely still pays him very handsomely.

Pete would just walk and pull it around behind him.

I love him as a coach. I hate most of his radio talk. He also has extremely old takes on life and football.

I think he stays close even if he doesn’t have a title. Kinda like skip with baseball. There was a reason he stepped in so easily when they asked him to. I feel like he wants to but can’t at his age. Talking to old players, he was about as intense as it gets and I’m sure that’s taxing on him

Shitty take. I could listen to him talk for hours.

He said he has nothing left in the tank. So don't get your hopes up.

And I bet if you asked him he would tell you it had nothing to do with money. He would be an analyst that just helped on the field and with technique.
