3 couples, early 60’s, interests are eating, drinking, relaxing, etc.
Previous annual trips have included, NO, Nashville, Scottsdale, Key West, Charleston……
We are all active but really looking for a couple of ideas on things to do for two of the 4 days we are there. Those days would be a Friday and Saturday.
Any input on Little Havana would be appreciated. TIA

The Layover (Bourdain) rarely disappoints. I'd bet everywhere he went is still open.

Cuban - Sazon - quick Uber ride - my wife loved it and she's Cuban

Lol's Surf Cantina SOBE. Connected to the Marriott Stanton. Great prices and good food and drinks. At least when we were there. Much better drinnk prices than most of SOBE.

The Prime restaurants in SOBE are legit as well.

Thank you for the responses. I will look into all.
Some clarification.
Aside from eating, drinking, walking around, etc what are some activities that we can do?
Ex: Nashville we went to CM Hall of Fame and Elvis recording studio
Key West we did kayaking and boat excursion
New Orleans we did pontoon boat tour and up to BR for first game after Miles was fired.

My guess is drinking and eating will be plentiful. What can we do in between?

Rent a jet ski.
Book a snorkeling trip.
Everglades tour.
Tour Wynwood for all the murals. It’s like a neighborhood art gallery.
Head over to Key Biscayne.

Thanks. I will look into this over the weekend.
Our original plans were Austin but unfortunately we had to change that.

Old Havana’s Cuban bar & Cocina in Little Havana is great.

Service, setup, food, and drinks were amazing.

South Beach is nice but expensive. We went in Mid May, it was extremely hot even then. Water felt great though.

Renting the Citi bikes & riding on ocean drive was fun. Stopped at cool hotels & places to grab a drink facing the ocean. The Colony was our favorite hotel

Being older (me too) you should be able to get up in time to watch the sunrise on the beach, then rent the bikes & ride around Ocean Dr & the beach walk while the young party crowd are still sleeping. If possible make the time to drive at least partways down the Keys; Key West is about 4 hours from South Beach. Personally, I would give up a day in Miami to spend some time in the Keys.

Thank you for the feedback. We have been to the Keys multiple times along with the other couples.
Basically I/we are looking for things to do on a Friday and Saturday, in October.
Very interested in spending an afternoon/evening in Little Havana. I did like the Salsa lesson idea as I tend to think that could be very humorous. Maybe an airboat tour of the Everglades.
We are not into fine dining etc. more or less looking for fun stuff to do during the days.
Thanks for everyone’s input
