I would just go ahead and lock in brown as the everyday starter. If you want to get Pearson abs let him dh against righties. Brown has the power we need to see more of. I wish Pearson could play 3rd actually, i know he played 2nd some. Maybe put Dickinson at third and Pearson at 2nd if his gloves good enough.
Obviously a Longshot for that to happen and idk how much more he gives you over braswell or Reaves.

That's a solid lineup. I like it a lot.

Yeah, I love this lineup. Only thing I would maybe change is putting Milam in the 3 hole protecting Bear.

Larson, Brown - please for the love of God do something so we don’t have to see Pearson hitting cleanup again

Why? Braswell is a much better hitter. He's off to a slow start, but there is no doubt he's better than Pearson. Braswell beat Pearson last year in every stat except HRs. He was better overall and just in SEC play too.

2024 SEC stats
Braswell - .310 BA, .830 OPS
Pearson - .235 BA, .681 OPS

at 2B Dickinson is much better than Pearson was. And Braswell looks to be very solid at 3B.

Larson is a good protector of Jones in the 3 hole.

Braswell also went 18/42 with 3 HRs in the postseason last year

And he started slow last year also. Braswell will be fine and should be in the lineup short of some HUGE leap by Reaves.

Did you watch any games last season? Braswell was very good, much better hitter than Pearson.

Braswell in SEC play was third on the team in BA (behind White and Larson) and 2nd on the team in OBP. There are far too many people who think him struggling in defense means he was horrible all around. He was one of our most consistent hitters for the bulk of the season.

I agree I was just trying to think of a way for brown to play, Larson to dh ,and Pearson still play. Mainly because it seems like jay will want to play him as much as possible q
