Will be staying at the Signia Hotel near by for 5 days for a work related event so I am looking for recommendations that Google doesn't offer.

That area sucks and the food is shite, but I had a good meal at White Oak when I was stuck down there for a week straight. Cuts steakhouse too.

Ted's Montana Grill on Luckie St. Strong drink, bison brisket, and good service.

Pretty much this. Downtown Atlanta is a disappointment big time. I have a conference there every other year and have yet to find somewhere to love.

In ATL within a taxi ride, I dig Amore, Consulate, and Marcel. The burger at Marcel is not on the menu but it's incredible.
