The stupid cheering animation on ESPN mobile boxscores makes me want to kill puppies

This stupid animation makes me irrationally furious for some reason. Like I want to hunt down whoever made this decision and signed off on it and throw my phone directly at their face as hard as I can in cold weather.

The irony is that one reason Google became so popular quickly was they made their UI's extremely clean and minimal.
Now they are bloated and full of junk.
Google Maps is basically unusable at this point.
Creatives at Google shove those little animations in to justify their worthless existence.

If you notice the look of the arms you can probably guess the type of people that spearheaded this "important" feature.
Google has too much money and throws money at totally useless features that employs people just as valuable as the ones working within NGOs that receive USAID funding.
