Id pick the PWS, but either one is fine.

Is it possible to build your own lower? It's not hard and you can spend the money on a nice trigger. Trigger and barrel is what you don't want to skimp on if possible

Out of those the PWS. But for $400+ and everything is coming with milspec grips, triggers, etc. I'd just build up my own. I just looked up the excel file I kept track of my last build with and it was $425 and everything is higher end compared to what I see there. Geissele trigger and bolt catch, B5 Sopmod Stock, Radian safety selector, etc. Basically everything but the basic parts kit I got to pick what was best for me. If you want milspec, you can likely build that for $250-$300.

I’d say they are all basically the same, I would look at getting one that has markings for a 45degree safety markings not 90, and I stall a ambi 45 deg selector switch. Absolute game changer imo

PSA EPT LOWER

No to the above and save hundreds ($169) with an EPT trigger through PSA.

IMO, the lower doesn't make that much of a difference. I went with a blemished Anderson, aka My Little Pony, lower for around $50. I couldn't even find the blemish. Spent my money on a better barrel. That rifle is a tack driver.

Money is better spent on trigger, barrel, and optics.

EPT trigger

I really hate that trigger. Maybe I got a bad one but prefered my old 6920 trigger to this one. Instead of a normal 2 stage mil trigger that you know will kinda suck, this is like some single stage half assed improvement that isn't really an improvement.

Idk, hard to describe. I'm just not really a fan. I'm going to try their SOPMOD lower kit with the 2 stage boron whatever trigger next

It happens. Re: PSA EPTs, I have had a gritty one out of 6; that’s pretty good odds for the price. PSA wanted the whole lower back to replace and for price, I lived with it and it sits in my barn.

On another note, PSA AKs with ALG trigger is lights out awesome…they may or may not go full send at times.

Have also had a bad Geissele (they replaced quickly) and a bad Timney (they also replaced quickly).

Blem PSA stealth, SoL LPK, Larue Trigger, BCM Handle and Buffer System, and Bravo Stock for the win.

+1 for going stripped lower.

It's so easy to put one together. Plus you can spec out your own stock, buffer, trigger etc. If you've ever put together a model plane, car, truck, ship etc, you can put together a lower.

Why not something like this from PSA? Seems better in every way.

Yeah, I was trying to burn some gift cards. The lower is PSA, so I could go that route.

ETA Upper, not lower.

Now it's time to suggest what parts to get. I prefer this trigger. I have somewhere between 5-10k rounds throught mine

I also like the Magpul STR stock. I like the cheek weld I can get with it. Everything else just go with a reputable company. I go with whatever Primary Arms has on sale. IE Aero Precision

I was aiming for a higher number than 1 with my post it's a fun process, that really leaves you with a working knowledge of the tool. It makes repairs way less daunting, which is a really solid byproduct.
