We’re watching the answer to the NBA All Star game

As evident by 4 Nations playoff, you get these guys fighting for country pride they go all out.
If you did USA vs World you’d get these NBA losers actually playing.
These home grown USA guys HATE the fact that Europeans are taking over. Throw in the fact that Canadians are balling now too. I think you’d get a competitive All Star game

Sabonis
Gobert
Jamal Murray
KAT
Etc etc for both teams the rosters could be argued endlessly but the point is, the world has enough to fill up a roster and out these spoiled US NBA players in their place

Did you not notice how the league very clearly tried that without saying it explicitly with Barkley's "drafted" team?

You underestimate how lazy the NBA guys are and how rough and tough the hockey guys are. Totally different mindsets.

Also people won't wrap the black American basketball players in the flag. We saw that this is summer when a bunch of real Americans were cheering for Serbia and France's basketball teams.

The superstar approach to the dunk contest of it’s better to not compete than potentially lose has seeped into the league as a whole. It will take a mentality shift to fix it.
I’ll believe it when I see it. I used to really enjoy the NBA. I’m not talking about the 80s or 90s, I mean just 10 to 15 years ago it was much better.

The NHL is built on passion and players that actually care and won’t sit out for injuries. The NBA is the complete opposite, no passion and will sit out for injuries. This setup would never work.
