Promising concept, flawed execution. Anyone else give this a go yet?

I started it late last Friday but fell asleep before the opening credits were done.

I plan on giving it another go, but the wife wants to see it too so now I'm on her schedule.

Wife and I watched it last night. Entertaining enough, but a bit far fetched.

Overall, it was better than most crap put out these days. Maybe would’ve been better executed as a series. Seemed everything was rushed and super easy to figure out prob because of time. Concept could’ve definitely be executed better.

I think it would have made an excellent series. Agreed that it was just too rushed and straightforward.

I turned it off with about 30-40 minutes left and finished the next day.

It was fine. Not good, not bad, just meh.

The concept was good and the story wasn't bad. Something just didn't hit on it. Im not a big Miles Teller fan and Im not a big fan of Anya whatever. Neither one of them can carry a movie for me even though I really enjoyed queen's gambit.

I thought the first half was great. The 2nd half with the action kinda bored me. It was a strange reaction i admit.

Not bad

The ending wrapped up a bit too story book. I think they could have arrived at the same point with a few more scenes, but it came off as a bit too contrived and Hallmark.

I see a sequel where Godzilla rival Biollante emerges out of the Gorge years later.
