Flying up to Boston from New Orleans in June for a George Strait/Chris Stapleton concert.
Looking to stay in downtown Boston and looking for some hotel recs. Preferably something in the Marriott family, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be.

I’ve stayed at the Long Wharf and loved it. But I’m a cheap arse so usually end up staying in the Seaport area. Still walkable to pretty much everywhere.

Not downtown but right on the T.
The Row at Assembly Row
We have a tentative booking there for this summer.

Liberty Hotel is a remodeled prison. It’s a Marriott property located on the T. Right next to Mass General.

We stayed at The Hotel Eliot years ago when we went. Not sure if it's still nice now, but it was great then. The website still looks great!

This is the answer. REAALLLY cool place. The restaurant was awesome, the decor is super cool, lots of little design and style accessories, excellent location. 5/5 would recommend

Marriott Copley Place is a nice hotel and great location

Hard to argue with Copley/Back Bay. That’s the wife’s favorite. Good shopping and restaurants. I’m partial to the North End area. Guess it’s from the memories I had as a kid around Faneuil Hall, etc. Stayed at a Canopy by Hilton near there last June. It’s fairly new.
I’d go with one of those two areas for sure.

Stayed at the Bostonian a couple of years ago and had a great stay. Very good location.

We take a New Year trip to Boston every year and this year stayed at the Bostonian right across Quincy Market, nice hotel and very close proximity to everything, you can never go wrong staying around Faneuil Hall

Saw this thread and was going to immediately recommend the Liberty but others beat me to it. This is the answer, have stayed there several times - one of my favorite hotels in the country - you made a great choice! The lobby is spectacular.
