Ear Protection

What are some good muffs out there that allow you to hear but protect from loud/damaging noises? Also, possibly has Bluetooth capabilities to connect to your phone. I’d like to be able to run the ZT mower, chainsaw, shoot or whatever, but still be able to hear what’s going on around me.

No bluetooth, but the Walker Patriot Razor muffs are pretty solid for most things like that. Has a built in mic with adjustable volume but an effective noise cancel for loud surges in sound.
You can get them at most sporting goods stores for between $40 and $60.

Just me but I like different things for different applications. The ones posted above I like for shooting. Running my ZT, saws and such I like noise canceling ear buds with Bluetooth. Over the ear muffs are hot during the summer and if you wear a wide brimmed hat they don’t work.

This is absolutely correct.
For summer running my mower or saws, I just wear my noise canceling Samsung Gear buds.

I've been very pleased with mine. I use them while running surface drive and I can cut the engine, enhance the sound and hear animals walking nearby.
They can also cancel out a 1500# RV lifting as well...

I put ear muffs over my ear buds. Catches the mf'ers before they get run over/lost in the yard.

Walker quad Bluetooth are what I've been using. I like them a whole lot. They aren't the best thing ever but the price is good when they are on sale.
They do suck when the wind is blowing really hard. Not sure if anything exists that doesn't have that problem.

I was just reading about Walker muffs. The one I was looking at takes AAA batteries. To me, that’s better than having to worry about recharging and battery life.

The best deal out there are the razor xtreme from sam's club.
For all the things you listed other than shooting I just use my air pod pros. They provide 25-30db of protection depending on who tested them. They are not rated for it, but they do provide some degree of protection. I can't tell if my dust collector is on or not when using them... so they work good enough for me.

Yea mine take AAA's and I prefer that to rechargeable.
Got a half a season on mine of wearing them every hunt and haven't had to change them yet.

The ones I posted use 2 AAA batteries (and it comes with them!) and the battery life has been great. Myself, my wife, and our daughters all use them at the range. I just keep an extra couple of 4 packs of AAA in my range bag, but haven't needed to replace them yet.

We're in about 18 months or over 70 range trips and we haven't had to replace them either. It's kind of crazy.

Which is crazy because I have some in-ear silencer 2.0's and the battery life is abysmal. 2ish hours if bluetooth is turned on.

Bluetooth is a notorious battery killer on anything. Turn bluetooth off on your phone and you can gain an extra day or two of battery life.

I've got two pairs of Savior electronic ear muffs. On Amazon, I think they were $35 and no complaints. No Bluetooth though. I know my 10 year old who is sensitive to sound likes them more than the Walker's from a comfort and sound perspective.
