1pm. Don’t miss it. Jay recently compared not having him last year to taking Nuss off our football team this year.

I forgot how big he is.

I’m sure they are “easing” him back in with the Sunday start. I’d be willing to bet by SEC play he’s pitching Friday or Saturday’s

I heard Jay say he touched 100 5x during a scrimmage recently.

And yes I think it is to get him 5 innings and slowly start stretching him as we get toward SEC play

Don’t be disappointed if it takes a while before he finds his legs. Hopefully by mid season he will be rolling.

I dont expect much. Shores will be far more valuable in April and I'm sure we will see limited appearances.

I'd expect him around 4-5 innings with 75-80 pitch limit.

Without question. I’m sure he’ll be on a strict pitch count as they bring him back online as well. He hasn’t pitched in a game in almost 2 years. Kind of have to protect him from himself in his first few games. He’ll be amped up and bringing it. As he settles in and starts stretching the pitch count, I could absolutely see him sliding to the Friday start with Anderson moving to Saturday and Eyanson to Sunday.

No matter how you spit it, that rotation is going to be difficult on opposing teams. With the way the pen has looked so far….. goodness gracious this staff is loaded!

If Anderson keeps shoving with his swing and miss stuff, and Eyanson keeps throwing to weak contact, keeping Shores on Sunday as our hardest thrower is actually a pretty good strategy to keep opposing teams off balance through the weekend. Like how in 22 Tennessee kept Dollander on Sundays with beam and burns Friday/saturday

Anderson & Eyanson pitched better in the spring. That’s why they went Friday-Sat

Dollander was their Saturday guy in ‘22 and their ace in ‘23
