Plenty of options on the internet. Outsidepride.com is where I buy most of my seed. Better have time for a real grass green. It’s like having a kid.

Thanks. I've seen them off amazon with some mixed reviews. Some absolutely terrible.
Yep figure it's 15 min a day min. But that's fine.

Go synthetic turf green.

Where do you live?
Honestly unless you plan to baby it, you’re better off paying up front for the synthetic

What brand of synthetic would you recommend?

I like the GCI Turf Alpha Elite Bermuda Seed, I haven't personally taken it down to putting greens heights but I've seen others do it. The upkeep is brutal get ready to mow every day or every other day.

Synlawn is good.
I’ve worked with Southern Turf as well. Any reputable installer can set you up with the proper stuff.

Monaco bermuda is generally regarded as one of the best seeded varieties. They have 2lb, 10lb, and 25lb bags in stock on domyown

Seeds won’t produce ultradwarf.
Google some of the trade names they are known as, for example:
Tifeagle (Tifeagle.com)
Miniverde (Miniverde.com)
I have no idea if they would sell (and ship) sprigs for a backyard green. They’re probably into the big orders.
But at least that’ll give you some names of growers.

That's the issue i have run into. Even at 6500 SF, can't get sprigs.
I may see if I can go through a local course greens keeper
I really want sunday bermuda
Greens historically were champions which is supposedly a massive pain.
Miniverde they use at percy quin and that stuff is fickle also

Try seeding bentgrass this Fall. Seed should be available online. Apparently there’s bentgrass greens at some courses in the South. I have no clue as to the challenges that would entail.

I have a TifEagle Bermuda home green approximately 1500 sq ft. Purchased sprigs from Bayou Bend Nursery in Bastrop 20 years ago this past June. On second McClane’s walk behind greens mower.
